• Why does IAE Nice encourage its students to take the CforCSR© certification?

  CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), has become a key aspect of management and administration. For businesses, it is now essential to recruit responsible managers capable of meeting the challenges of global performance: economic, social and environmental.

  Corporate Social Responsibility in Organizations is at the heart of the IAE Nice's commitments: the school is committed to training efficient and responsible managers.  IAE Nice offers its students, throughout their studies, the required tools to evolve in complex environments, especially through the transmission of three values: diversity, sustainability and ethics.

• How do I access the CforCSR© platform?

• How do I obtain passwords to access the CforCSR© platform?

  At the beginning of the academic year, students are automatically enrolled in the platform. They receive an automatic e-mail from the CforCSR© platform (contact@cforcsr.com) at their University e-mail address. This e-mail contains the link to access the platform, as well as instructions for entering the platform. To connect two items are required:

  • Username : it corresponds to the University 's e-mail address for each student.
  • Password : it must be generated by each student during their first connection. For this, the student must click on "Forgotten Password" on the homepage and enter their University  e-mail address in the text field. An e-mail will be automatically sent to this address with a link valid for 24 hours to create or reset a password.

  For security reasons, an encryption system is imposed on users:

  • 4-character encryption: upper case, lower case, digit and special characters 
  • password at least 10 characters long
• What if the CforCSR© platform does not recognise the student's e-mail address?

  1. Verify the accuracy of the entry:

  • The e-mail address stored in the platform to connect (to fill in the "username") must end with @univ-cotedazur.fr. No other address will be accepted (@gmail.com, for example).
  • If the student does a copy and paste, check that there are no residual spaces at the end of the e-mail. The ID corresponds exactly with the student's University e-mail address. No upper case is allowed.

  2. Students that are not registered: 

  It is possible that the student is not registered on the platform. The first wave of registrations is made at the beginning of academic year. A second wave of registration is carried out some weeks later, to "recover" students whose administrative enrolment at iae Nice took place later. In case the student's e-mail address is not recognised, please contact dominique.michel@univ-cotedazur.fr. Indicating your name, surname, Université Côte d’Azur e-mail and your curriculum (e.g. Master 2 Digital marketing, EMBA…).

• What if you forget your password?

  You can carry out a forgotten password recovery procedure.

  To do this on the login page (iaenice.cforcsr.com/user), click on "forgotten password" and follow the instructions given on the following page: "enter the Universitye-mail address". You will receive an e-mail to this address with a link to click to change your password. After saving your new password, you can log in on the login page. Warning! The password recovery link is valid for 24 hours.

• What if you can’t print your certificate of completion of TRAINING?

  This is certainly due to the fact that you have not yet achieved the minimum required for each of the 12 modules. For each of the 12 modules, you must have chosen a resource and answered all the questions in the questionnaire for this resource. If a student fails to answer one of the set of questions the certificate of completion of training is not generated.

  Check inside of each of the 12 modules that you have answered all the questions corresponding to the resource you have selected. When this is the case, you will see a red cartridge appear in the top left of the dashboard. This red cartridge is marked "export dashboard to PDF". Clicking on it enables you to generate your dashboard, save it or print it. This is proof of completion of the training part.

• In the TRAINING part, is the work achieved by a student retained from one academic year to the next?

  The platform is closed during the university summer vacation to carry out updates. Some resources are removed, others are added. If a student has been working on a resource that is removed during the summer, this work will be lost in September. If a student has been working on a resource that is not removed during the summer, work will still be there in September. For this reason we strongly recommend students finish their training courses in the same academic year.

• What is the test of the CERTIFICATION?

  Certification is a timed test of a maximum duration of 35 minutes. It assesses the level of awareness, adoption and implementation of skills related to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). A series of 50 questions is proposed, based on a random draw from a bank of broader issues.

  The questions focus on four themes: there are general questions about CSR, questions relating to the economic pillar of CSR, issues related to the social pillar of CSR and issues related to the environmental pillar of CSR.

  Two types of questions are proposed. There are multiple choice type questions (proposed at the beginning of the test): these questions measure your level of knowledge of concepts related to CSR. They relate to the French national and international environment. There are also role-play work situations where you have to make a decision that respects the principles of the CSR (found at the end of the test).

  For each of the questions posed in the certification test, there are three possible answers and an "I do not know" answer. A good answer is worth 2 points; a wrong answer or reply "I do not know" is worth 0 points.

  After the test, a score out of 100 is returned to the candidate, who can be located on 4 levels: beginner (0 to 24 points), intermediate (25 to 49 points), advanced (50 to 74 points) or expert (from 75 to 100 points). A CforCSR© certificate can be printed and saved by each student. This is an official document from IAE Nice and Socrates. This document has an authentication key.

  Students have the opportunity to communicate their results in the certificate and their authentication key to any company in which CSR concepts are important. It is a document that validates an additional skill, so it is worthwhile keeping.

• Is it possible to start CERTIFICATION, to stop and resume it later?

  No, the certification is a test.

  Once started, a countdown starts. Students have 35 minutes to answer the test questions. This is why we recommend that students take the test in the best conditions: be alone, quiet, with a good internet connection for 35 minutes. Read the instructions before starting the test.

• What to do with the two certificates of completion of the platform (the TRAINING certificate and CERTIFICATION certificate)?

  If the student has obtained at least 70 points in the certification, they must send the certification certificate to the Registrar's Office in order to benefit from the bonus.

• What to do in case of loss of the TRAINING and CERTIFICATION certificates?

  You can return to the platform and re-print and/or save your certificate (in Dashboard).

• What is the deadline for completion of TRAINING and CERTIFICATION?

  Students will be able to access the platform until 15 June 2024 to complete their training and certification. After this date, the platform will be permanently closed.

• Can I complete certification several times to improve my score?

  You can pass certification only once per academic year.
